What you get
A standards-correct SCORM 1.2 package
imsmanifest.xml at the zip root, the ADL schema files included, single-SCO structure any LMS understands.
Completion tracking that means something
Reports completed when the learner reaches the last page, with a visible "Mark complete" fallback. Tools that mark complete on launch produce a compliance record worth nothing.
Bookmarking
Learners resume on the page they left, and progress saves to the LMS continuously rather than only at exit.
Faithful to your document
Word is split into pages at your headings. PDFs keep their exact layout, one page per page.
Tested in a real LMS
Every package is checked against SCORM Cloud, the reference LMS built by Rustici, the company that maintains the SCORM standard itself.
- Zero
- warnings from its manifest validator
- Incomplete
- reported on launch, never a false pass
- Complete
- only once the learner finishes
If your learners see “Popup Blocked” when they open the course
Worth knowing in advance, because it looks like a broken course and is not. Many LMSs, including SCORM Cloud, launch courses in a new window by default. If the learner's browser blocks popups they see “We attempted to launch your course in a new window, but a popup blocker is preventing it from opening”, and nothing else happens.
Nothing is wrong with the package. SCORM 1.2 has no setting for window mode, so this is controlled entirely by your LMS. Either allow popups for the LMS address, or switch the course's launch type from New Window to Frameset (in SCORM Cloud, under Course Properties, Launch Behavior) so it opens inline.
More launch and playback errors, with the exact wording and what each one means, are in the SCORM troubleshooting guide.
